Kingshot VIP Spending Priority: When Gems Are Worth a Rank

VIP is a gem-to-XP ladder, not a requirement to play. If you spend, open the VIP planner, see how many gems the next rank still needs, and only buy when that rank unlocks a queue or chest you will use this month. Do not dump gems into VIP the morning of KvK prep if those gems were earmarked for a scored pack.

VIP is optional. Plan the next rank as a number. Daily VIP chests scale with level — that is the compounding argument, not a mandate. F2P accounts can skip this page.

VIP is a ladder, not a personality

The VIP levels table shows twelve ranks with cumulative XP and an approximate gem equivalent. Those figures are community-sourced. They are not a recommendation to spend.

If you never buy packs, stop here and read the F2P hero priority guide instead. This page is for governors who already convert money into gems and want the next rank to mean something.

Use the planner before the shop

Open the VIP level planner, set current and target, and read the XP remaining. If the next rank does not unlock a second queue, extra chest value, or a convenience you will click every day, park the gems.

Daily VIP Chest value scales with level. That is the compounding argument for a rank you will keep for months — not for a one-day shop panic.

Do not let events launder a bad purchase

Strongest Governor and KvK prep will happily eat gems you meant for a later rank. If a scored week is on the calendar, finish the prep checklist first. VIP XP that is not on the event’s scoring table is not “playing the event.”

Gem equivalents on the table are approximate. Confirm live VIP XP in the shop. We will not invent pack contents or a secret F2P VIP path that does not exist.
